LinkedIn pricing in the United Kingdom
LinkedIn adds 20% VAT to the subscription price in the United Kingdom, and the pounds list price is set separately from the US one rather than converted from it. Those two facts decide more of the bill than which tier you pick. Below: what changes here, the US baseline to judge it against, and the thirty-second way to read your own real figure.
Three things that decide a UK LinkedIn bill
LinkedIn publishes a separate sterling price. It is not the dollar price converted, and it does not move with the exchange rate — which is why a figure someone worked out from the US price is wrong even on the day they worked it out.
VAT at 20% is added on top. That is the largest single difference between the advertised figure and what leaves the account, and it applies to consumers and to businesses that do not reclaim.
A VAT-registered business pays the VAT and reclaims it, so the effective cost is the ex-VAT figure. Enter the VAT number in billing before the first charge so the invoice carries it.
The usage ceilings are identical everywhere. Roughly 100 connection invitations a week, the same InMail allowance per tier, the same 2,500-result cap on a Sales Navigator search — none of it moves with the currency. The full list is here.
20% VAT, added on top
From LinkedIn's own published table, read 18 September 2026. It is added to the advertised price rather than included in it.
| Buying as | Tax treatment | Effective cost |
|---|---|---|
| Private individual | Charged at 20% VAT | List price plus 20% |
| Registered business | Charged, then reclaimed through your normal return | List price, once reclaimed |

US list prices, to judge your UK figure against
We do not publish local-currency prices, and the reason is the same one that governs every other figure on this site: we cannot read a purchase flow in a market we are not in, so any number we printed would be someone else’s number with our date on it. The US list price below is the baseline LinkedIn prices its other markets around — it is not a conversion target — and the thirty-second method further down gets you your own real figure, tax included.
| Plan | Monthly (US) | Annual (US) |
|---|---|---|
| Premium Career | $39.99 | $239.88 |
| Premium Business | $69.99 | $575.88 |
| Sales Navigator Core | $119.99 | $1,079.88 |
| Sales Navigator Advanced | $159.99 | $1,799.88 |
| Sales Navigator Advanced Plus | Quote only | Quote only |
| Recruiter Lite | $170 | $1,680 |
| Recruiter Corporate | Quote only | Quote only |
| LinkedIn Learning (standalone) | $39.99 | $239.88 |
| Premium Company Page | $99.99 | Quote only |
US list prices per seat excluding tax, last verified 12 September 2026. Premium Career at $39.99 and Sales Navigator Core at $119.99 are the two figures most people are comparing against when they search for a local price.
Read your own UK price instead
No table on the web can be right about this, including ours. The payment screen can, and it does not charge you for looking.
- Sign in with the account that will hold the subscription.
- Open the plan page and pick monthly or annual.
- Advance to the payment screen — nothing is charged until you confirm.
- Read the total in pounds. It includes the VAT for your billing address.
- If you are buying as a business, enter your VAT number first and watch the total change.
Looking at a UK invoice right now?
Then you are holding a sourced figure and we are not. Send the plan, whether it was monthly or annual, the pounds amount and whether tax was included, and we will publish it with the date and the market — which is more than anyone else in this search result can offer. Corrections to the tax figures above are just as useful.
- A reply within 4 business hours, from a person
- On the channel you pick — Telegram, WhatsApp, a call or email
- Nothing to buy: we publish LinkedIn's prices, not our own
What people ask before buying here
Does LinkedIn charge VAT in the UK?
Yes. LinkedIn’s own tax table lists the United Kingdom at 20%, added to the subscription price rather than included in it. A VAT-registered business reclaims it in the normal way; everyone else pays it.
Is the UK price just the US price converted?
No. LinkedIn sets a separate sterling price per plan. Converting the US figure gives a number that is wrong in both directions at different times, which is why this site publishes the US list price as a baseline and tells you to read your own.
Do the usage limits change in the United Kingdom?
No. The invitation ceiling, the InMail allowance and the search caps are the same in every market — they are product limits, not commercial ones. That is worth knowing because it means a cheaper market buys you a cheaper seat, not a bigger one. The full list of ceilings is here.
The UK number is on your payment screen
We publish the US baseline because we read it, and the tax because LinkedIn publishes it. The local list price is one click away inside your own account, and that is the only version of it worth trusting.
