Premium Company Page: LinkedIn publishes a monthly price but no prepaid annual price for this product.

Of the four rows above, Premium Career is the only one whose price we have recorded a change for. This log opened in September 2026 and the rollout ran per cohort, so the entry below is dated approximately rather than to a day.

  1. Premium Career

    $29.99 / month$39.99 / monthincrease

Rolled out per cohort rather than on one day: new subscribers see $39.99 while many existing ones stayed on the older rate. If your billing page disagrees with this figure, you are probably grandfathered — and that is worth knowing before you cancel and resubscribe.

How this was confirmed: Widely reported across independent 2026 pricing guides and consistent with LinkedIn’s current published figure. LinkedIn did not announce a single switch-over date.

Every change we have verified, across all of LinkedIn's paid products, is on the LinkedIn price change record.

Weighing this against the other product? Premium vs Sales Navigator puts both tier tables side by side and names the one question that decides it.

Buying LinkedIn Learning on its own costs the same as Premium Career and gives you less, so it is almost never the right purchase. Sales Navigator and Recruiter sit above these tiers — all of them are priced on what LinkedIn actually costs in 2026.

Cheapest first

Every route to Premium, ranked by what it actually costs

In order, cheapest to most expensive, with the catch stated rather than buried.

1. Free month — $0

One trial per account, card required, converts automatically. Best used deliberately: do the searching and the InMails inside the window.

2. LinkedIn Learning via a library card — $0

Many public library systems provide LinkedIn Learning free to members. It covers the courses only — no badge, no InMail, no profile viewers.

3. Premium Career, annual prepay — $19.99/mo effective

$239.88 for the year against $479.88 paid month by month. The catch is the twelve-month lock: LinkedIn does not pro-rate cancellations.

4. Career instead of Business — saves $360/yr

Business costs $30 more a month for 15 InMails instead of 5 and unlimited browsing. If you are not browsing at volume, that is the commonest overspend on this page.

5. Premium Business, annual prepay — $47.99/mo effective

$575.88 a year. Only worth it if you genuinely need unlimited browsing and 15 InMails.

6. Monthly at list — $39.99 or $69.99

The most expensive way to hold Premium, and the most common. Worth it only for short, defined stretches.

LinkedIn Premium FAQ

The Premium cost questions, answered

How much is LinkedIn Premium?

Premium Career is $39.99 a month or $239.88 for a year prepaid — an effective $19.99 a month. Premium Business is $69.99 a month or $575.88 a year, an effective $47.99. Both are US list prices excluding tax, and both include the full LinkedIn Learning library. Last checked against LinkedIn’s own pricing on 10 September 2026.

What is the cheapest LinkedIn Premium plan?

Premium Career on an annual prepay, at $239.88 for twelve months — $19.99 a month effective, which is half the monthly rate and the cheapest legitimate access to a Premium badge, InMail credits and Learning. If you cannot commit to a year, the monthly plan at $39.99 is the only other route LinkedIn offers, and it costs $479.88 over the same twelve months.

What is the difference between Premium Career and Premium Business?

Business costs $30 more a month and gives you 15 InMail credits instead of 5, unlimited people browsing instead of a capped allowance, 365 days of profile-viewer history instead of 90, and company-page insights. Career keeps the job-seeker tools: applicant insights and where you rank against other candidates.

How do I get LinkedIn Premium cheaper or free?

Three legitimate routes, and no coupon codes — LinkedIn runs no public discount programme. A free trial where LinkedIn offers one — it does not commit to a length, it decides eligibility per account, and it wants a card on file. Prepaying a year halves the effective monthly price on Premium Career. And many public library systems provide LinkedIn Learning free with a library card, which covers the course library without the subscription, though not the badge, the InMails or the profile viewers.

Is LinkedIn Premium worth it?

It is worth it if the commercial use limit is stopping your searches, if you need InMail to reach people outside your network, or if you are job hunting and want applicant insights. It is not worth it for the badge alone, and it does not raise the weekly connection request ceiling — no paid tier does.

How many InMail credits come with Premium?

5 a month on Career and 15 on Business. Unused credits roll over up to three times your monthly allowance and expire after 90 days; a reply within 90 days returns the credit. The full allowance table across every LinkedIn tier is on our LinkedIn limits page.

Is there a cheaper route to Premium Business than paying monthly?

Prepaying the year. Premium Business is $69.99 a month, or $575.88 for twelve months prepaid — $47.99 effective, against $839.88 if you pay month by month for the same year. The trade is that LinkedIn does not pro-rate a cancelled annual term, so the saving is real only if you were always going to keep the seat for twelve months.

Can I have Premium and Sales Navigator on the same account?

Yes, they are separate subscriptions on one profile, and LinkedIn bills them separately: Premium Career at $39.99 and Sales Navigator Core at $119.99 is $159.98 a month together. There is no combined discount. Before buying both, check whether Sales Navigator alone covers you — its search and InMail allowance is the larger of the two, and the overlap is most of what Premium adds.

Can I cancel LinkedIn Premium at any time?

On the monthly plan, yes — it ends at the close of the current billing month with no partial refund. Annual plans run the full twelve months and are not pro-rated, which is the trade for the lower effective rate.

Did LinkedIn Premium go up in price?

Premium Career went up from $29.99 to $39.99 a month through 2025–2026, rolled out per cohort rather than on one announced date, so an existing subscriber can still be billed the older rate. The current list prices are Career $39.99 and Business $69.99 a month, last checked on 10 September 2026. Every recorded change is on the LinkedIn price change record.

How much is LinkedIn Premium in the UK, India or Australia?

LinkedIn sets a separate Premium price for each market rather than converting the US one, and adds tax on top: 20% VAT in the United Kingdom, 18% GST in India and 10% GST in Australia, per LinkedIn’s own tax table as read on 18 September 2026. This site does not print local-currency prices, because it cannot read a purchase flow in another market. The US list price — Career $39.99 and Business $69.99 a month, checked 10 September 2026 — is the baseline; your own figure is on LinkedIn’s payment screen before you confirm.

Where to next

Pick the tier on the numbers, not the badge

$39.99 or $69.99 a month from LinkedIn, or $19.99 and $47.99 effective if you prepay the year — which saves $240 on Career and commits you to all twelve months.
