Applicant insights and salary data exist only on this tier — not on Business, not on Sales Navigator. If you are applying to roles, this is the only plan that helps.
Learning alone costs the same $39.99. Career includes it and adds the badge, the credits and the profile viewers for nothing extra.
Career keeps a capped browsing allowance; lifting it is the main thing Business buys. That, not the InMail count, is usually the real reason to move up.
The search stops at 1,000 results, same as a free account, and there are no lead lists. That is Sales Navigator's job.

Does Premium Career include LinkedIn Learning?
Yes, the full library. This matters because LinkedIn also sells Learning on its own at $39.99 a month — exactly what Career costs — so a standalone Learning subscription gets you the courses and nothing else for the same money. If you want Learning, buy Career.
Can I get Premium Career free?
A free trial where LinkedIn offers you one — typically a month, though it commits to neither the length nor universal eligibility — with a payment method on file; it converts to a paid month automatically unless you cancel. Beyond that there is no free route to the badge or the InMail credits. Many public library systems do provide LinkedIn Learning free with a library card, which covers the course library but not the badge, the credits or the profile viewers.
