Every LinkedIn AI tool, sorted by how it reaches your account
Nine of the 42 tools below have no LinkedIn connection of any kind — several of them are bought in the belief that they do. Of the ones that do reach LinkedIn, the route LinkedIn sanctions accounts for one. 18 send invitations or messages under your name, and 12 hold your signed-in session on the vendor's own servers. That difference decides both what a tool can do and who carries the consequence, and no feature grid records it.

Nine groups with tools in them, and two that came back empty
Three questions separate these products, and the category is the least decisive of the three. What job it does comes first, how it reaches LinkedIn second, what that exposes third — and the second question cuts across every group below. 11 of the 17 outreach tools and 12 of the 16 automation tools are the same architecture wearing two labels: a vendor cloud driving your account. Pick the group you need, then read the badge, not the name.

Forty-five tools were checked on 20 September 2026 and all forty-five sell to recruiters or to sellers. None of them searches for a role, tailors an application or tracks one. Rather than file a prospecting tool under this heading, the registry carries none — the tools that do this exist and are a separate product class that has not been verified here.
The forty-five tools researched are outbound and data products. Several act on other people’s posts — a comment, a like, an export of who engaged — and those are filed under LinkedIn Content AI. None of them writes your posts, holds a calendar or works on your own profile, so this heading carries no tools rather than a stretched reading of six.
The counts do not add up to 42, and they are not meant to. A cloud sequencer that also imports a Recruiter search belongs on both pages, so each number is what its own category page lists rather than a share of the total.
A browser extension, a vendor cloud and a data provider are three different products
Most of the tools here reach LinkedIn through a route LinkedIn does not sanction, and a substantial group does not reach LinkedIn at all. The second group matters more than it looks. Several well-known AI sales products are bought in the belief that they cover LinkedIn; their own documentation says they cover email and the phone. That is the single most useful thing this directory records. The seven classes below are not degrees of one thing. Each has a ceiling no amount of good engineering lifts, and they are listed from the route that risks nothing to the route that risks your account.
Everything on LinkedIn is outside them. Covering LinkedIn as well means buying, paying for and running a second product, and moving data between the two.
No account of yours can be restricted, because no account of yours is used. What it sells is a copy, as current as its last refresh — and nothing behind your login: not your network, not your inbox, not your saved lists.
Narrow by design. The self-serve permissions cover sign-in, email address and posting on your own behalf; Pages, Ads and Sales Navigator partner access are granted through programmes rather than applied for, and nothing on the self-serve list returns people search or another member’s profile.
It reaches whatever the page in front of you shows, and nothing while the browser is closed. LinkedIn’s Prohibited Software and Extensions policy names extensions that automate the site, and enforcement lands on the member account.
The same reach as the extension class and the same clause against it, with one real difference: the session stays on your machine rather than in a vendor’s datacentre. The computer has to be awake for anything to run, and moving it to a rented server to fix that puts the traffic back on a datacentre IP.
The widest reach of any class and the highest exposure. It runs without you, the credential sits with somebody else, and every action is attributable to your account — which is also the thing LinkedIn can restrict.
Unknown, which is the point. Nothing in this directory treats an unread claim as a capability, and nothing treats an unanswered question as a reassurance.
A tool is filed under the route that carries the exposure, not the one the vendor leads with: software that captures your session through an extension and then runs it from a datacentre is a cloud tool that ships an extension. The same argument applied to AI agents rather than to sales software is on the LinkedIn MCP server directory, where the classes are what the server hands LinkedIn to get in.
Account exposure is derived from two fields, so you can re-derive it
Every tool directory on this query carries a safety claim, and every one of them is a hand-typed adjective sitting next to the product it describes. This one is a rule applied to two facts: how the tool reaches LinkedIn, and what it does with the account once it is there. Nothing here recommends automating a LinkedIn account, and no entry treats a vendor’s assurance about pacing as a statement of LinkedIn’s policy. Where a tool’s own architecture breaches the User Agreement, the entry says so rather than working around it.
No LinkedIn account of yours is involved, so there is nothing for LinkedIn to restrict. Whatever else these tools carry, it is not account risk.
The account is reached through a route LinkedIn sanctions, or only through a page you opened yourself. Nothing automated happens under your name.
The tool pulls profiles, search results or lists automatically. The User Agreement prohibits that by any means, but it produces no activity anybody receives, and enforcement on reading alone is rarer than on sending.
Actions go out under your name — invitations, messages, follows, likes — or your session is held on a vendor’s servers, or both. This is what LinkedIn’s enforcement is built to catch, and the account is what it acts on. The vendor keeps its subscription either way.
How the tool reaches LinkedIn is not established, so what it exposes is not either. This is a statement about the evidence, not a reassurance about the tool.
| If the tool | Exposure | Because |
|---|---|---|
| Runs on a LinkedIn API permission | Low | LinkedIn granted the scope. The ceiling is whatever it granted, and nothing more. |
| Sends anything under your name | High | Automated activity attributable to your account, on a route the User Agreement prohibits. |
| Runs from the vendor's cloud, even read-only | High | Your session lives on somebody else's machines either way, and it runs without you. |
| Pulls profiles or search results automatically | Medium | Automated reading the User Agreement prohibits, but nobody receives anything. |
| Reads only the page you opened yourself | Low | In your own session, at your own pace, with no activity nobody asked for. |
| Uses no LinkedIn account of yours | None | There is nothing for LinkedIn to restrict. |
| Does not state how it reaches LinkedIn | Not established | An unanswered question, recorded as one. It is not a synonym for safe. |
Exposure measures one thing: the chance that the LinkedIn account behind the tool ends up restricted. It is not a quality score — the most careful cloud vendor here and the least careful both land on High, because both send from a real account — and it is not blast radius, since a data vendor rated None can still put a company in front of a regulator. The member-side ceilings that apply whether or not a tool is involved are on the LinkedIn limits page.
All 42, filtered by the thing that actually decides it
Filter by how a tool reaches LinkedIn first; every other filter narrows a list you can already live with. Each card carries the integration class, the exposure that follows from it, what the tool does with your account, whether the vendor ships an MCP server, and the vendor's own entry price. The vendor link goes to the site the record was read from. If a filtered list is still a list, the stack picker asks 7 questions about the work and names one tool, only ever from the 14 here that put no LinkedIn account of yours behind them.

The entry price is the first real plan each vendor lists, skipping credit packs and one-off top-ups, quoted in the currency the vendor prints and never converted. There is deliberately no free-trial filter: Amplemarket publishes “No free plan” and “All plans include a free trial” in the same paragraph, and any keyword test that reads one of those reads the other backwards. Each entry records the vendor's own sentence about trials instead of a tick.
The nine tools the rest of this market is compared against reach LinkedIn in five different ways
The columns are picked by a rule, not by preference: in each category, the tool the other 41 records name as an alternative most often, skipping one already chosen. Read the first two rows before the rest: nine products that a buyer meets as one shopping list are, underneath, five different relationships with LinkedIn, and the second row is the one that says whether an account of yours is behind the tool at all.

Prices are the vendor's own entry plan on 20 September 2026 and are not LinkedIn prices. Of these nine, two do not state how, or whether, they reach LinkedIn, and neither publishes a figure this directory could read. That is a fact about their pages rather than a gap in the research, which is why the cell says so instead of showing a dash.
LinkedIn's own API does not permit people search, connection requests or messaging
This is the fact that shapes everything above it. There is no sanctioned way to search for people, send an invitation or message a stranger, so 23 of the 42 tools here drive a signed-in session instead — from your browser, your desktop, or a vendor's datacentre. The first clause below is written against exactly that, and the second says who it is enforced on.
| What LinkedIn publishes | In detail | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Automated access to LinkedIn is prohibited by the User Agreement, whatever the means. | Section 8.2 bars developing, supporting or using software that scrapes LinkedIn or copies profiles and data, and bars bots and other automated methods of access. It does not distinguish between a slow tool and a fast one, and it carves out nothing for well-paced automation. | www.linkedin.com ↗ |
| Enforcement lands on the member account, not on the vendor. | The Prohibited Software and Extensions policy names browser extensions and third-party automation services and states that LinkedIn may restrict or permanently restrict accounts that use them. The vendor keeps its subscription revenue either way. | www.linkedin.com ↗ |
| Your account is yours, and cannot be transferred or shared. | The User Agreement requires a real identity and one account per person, and bars letting anyone else use yours. This is the clause a rented sending profile breaches directly rather than at the edges. | www.linkedin.com ↗ |
| The official API grants far less than these products do. | LinkedIn’s self-serve permissions cover sign-in, email address and posting on your own behalf. Pages, Ads and Sales Navigator partner access are granted through programmes rather than applied for, and no permission on the self-serve list returns people search or another member’s profile. | learn.microsoft.com ↗ |
Every one expects you to hold it already, and there is no API to buy instead — a Core seat is $119.99 a month, read from LinkedIn on 12 September 2026.
Recruiter Lite is $170 a month and Recruiter Corporate is quoted rather than published, which is why a tool that supports “Recruiter” may mean either. What each Recruiter tier costs.
The weekly invitation limit, the InMail allowance and the 2,500-result search cap apply to the account, not to the software driving it. The full limits table.
The AI features inside LinkedIn are gated by plan and priced by LinkedIn, not by any vendor here. What LinkedIn's own AI costs.
And nine of them do nothing on LinkedIn at all
This is the most useful thing the research produced. Several of these are bought in the belief that they cover LinkedIn; the column on the right is what each vendor's own product, pricing and documentation pages actually say about it.
| Tool | What its own pages say about LinkedIn |
|---|---|
| Artisan | None. Artisan's own help centre states there are exactly two outreach channels, and neither is LinkedIn. Despite "email and social on autopilot" appearing throughout the marketing site, no LinkedIn connector, extension or account connection is documented. |
| Attention | None. Attention works on call recordings, email and the CRM. Its one LinkedIn reference is an agent writing the text of a LinkedIn message for a human to send. |
| Instantly | None. Instantly is an email product with no LinkedIn capability of its own. LinkedIn coverage requires pairing it with a separate LinkedIn tool; HeyReach documents a native one-way handoff into Instantly. |
| Landbase | None. It is a data vendor with no LinkedIn connection. |
| Octave | None. Octave is a context layer that feeds tools which may in turn message on LinkedIn; it has no LinkedIn connector, no sender and no scraping. |
| Regie.ai | None yet. LinkedIn appears on Regie.ai's own integrations page with the status "Waiting...", while Gmail, Outlook and HubSpot are live. The shipped channels are email and the dialer. |
| Smartlead | None. Smartlead is email only. Its integrations directory names third-party LinkedIn tools (Expandi, Waalaxy, GetSales.io) as partners rather than providing LinkedIn capability itself, and HeyReach documents a native integration from its side. |
| Sybill | None. Sybill works on call recordings, email and the CRM, and connects to no LinkedIn surface. |
| Unify | None. Unify is a data and signals vendor plus an email sender. It has no LinkedIn connector, no LinkedIn step type and no LinkedIn account connection. Note that both the pricing comparison table and the sequencing page now market "social messaging" and "social outreach in one sequence" — but the documented sequence step types contain no social step, so a LinkedIn touch is created as a manual task for a human to perform. |
Read from each vendor's own product, pricing, integration and documentation pages on 20 September 2026. None of these is a bad product and several are excellent at what they do. They are here because the phrase “AI sales tool” is sold as though it included LinkedIn, and for these 9 it does not.
Three more tools were researched and left out, each against a stated rule
A directory that prints only what it liked is a list of whatever someone found first. These were read the same way as the 42 above and failed one of three rules: the product no longer exists under the name a reader would search for, the domain now serves something unrelated, or it cannot be described accurately without describing a LinkedIn account-rental product. That last rule is this site's own, and it is the reason a trading product with real customers is not here.
| Tool | Why it is not in the directory |
|---|---|
| Zopto | Zopto was a cloud LinkedIn automation platform and is no longer addressable under that name. On 20 September 2026 a request to zopto.com followed a redirect chain ending at https://zeekeo.com — the apex host; the www host did not connect. Zeekeo sells an outbound platform in two parts, a self-serve workspace at $149 a seat and a managed service from $600 a month, and its site does not mention Zopto anywhere, so what became of Zopto accounts, campaigns and data is undocumented. Publishing a Zopto entry would put a live-looking record behind a name that now belongs to a different company; publishing a Zeekeo entry would mean publishing a record researched as a redirect target rather than as a product. Neither is worth doing. |
| Aomni | Aomni was an AI account-research agent for sellers. On 20 September 2026 aomni.com issued an HTTP 308 permanent redirect to duet.so, which sells per-client agent workspaces for consultancies and has no LinkedIn functionality: LinkedIn appears nowhere in Duet's product copy, pricing page or API documentation except as a footer social icon. The redirect is the evidence, and it is the only evidence used here — www.aomni.com also returned HTTP 503 on the same day, and a 503 is a server error equally consistent with a firewall refusing an automated client, so no conclusion is drawn from it about whether the company is trading. The exclusion rule is that the domain serves an unrelated product, not that anybody is gone. Duet itself is a real product and a reader looking for it should go to duet.so; it is simply not a LinkedIn tool. |
| Aimfox | Aimfox is trading and its cloud automation product is real. It is not published because its distinguishing product, sold on the homepage and on a page of its own, rents LinkedIn profiles to send from — the vendor's own framing, and the thing its pricing is built around. Describing Aimfox accurately means describing that product; describing it without that means describing a different tool and misleading anyone who then goes to the pricing page. This domain sold LinkedIn account rental until 10 September 2026 and sells nothing of the kind now, and it will not carry a page that reads as a route back to it. Two alternatives with the same cloud-automation architecture and no rental product are published here: we-connect and salesrobot. |
Note what is not a rule here. A tool whose pricing could not be read is still published, with the pricing recorded as unreadable — 2 of the 42 are in that state, and 5 publish no figure at all.
The questions people arrive with, answered directly
What is the best AI tool for LinkedIn?
The wrong question, and the one every list answers. These are not 42 versions of one product: they are seven different relationships with LinkedIn, one of which is that the vendor does not say, and the feature grid on a vendor site tells you nothing about which of them you can live with. Decide first whether you are willing to put a LinkedIn account behind the tool at all — 13 of the 42 here do not require one — then whether anything may go out under your name, which 18 of them do. That usually leaves three or four candidates, and the feature comparison is worth having after that, not before.
Is LinkedIn automation allowed?
No. Section 8.2 of the User Agreement bars developing, supporting or using software that scrapes LinkedIn or copies profiles and data, and bars bots and other automated methods of access. It draws no line between a slow tool and a fast one and carves out nothing for careful pacing. The consequence matters as much as the clause: LinkedIn's Prohibited Software and Extensions policy names browser extensions and third-party automation services and states that LinkedIn may restrict or permanently restrict the accounts using them. The account is what is restricted; the vendor keeps its subscription either way. This page records what each tool does and what that risks. It does not tell anyone to run one.
Can AI send LinkedIn messages and connection requests for me?
Yes — 18 of the 42 do, and none of them does it through a route LinkedIn opened for the purpose. No permission on LinkedIn's self-serve list returns people search or another member's profile, let alone sends an invitation, so every tool here that sends is driving a signed-in session — from your own browser, your own desktop, or, for 12 of them, from the vendor's servers with your session held on their infrastructure. The activity reaches LinkedIn as yours in all three cases.
Which LinkedIn AI tools are free?
Free covers two arrangements here, and it is worth knowing which one you are looking at. 12 of the 42 publish a recurring tier priced at zero. Some are genuine free plans that do not expire, usually capped at a few dozen credits a month and one seat. Others are free software with a running bill attached — credits charged per successful lookup, an AI provider key, a dedicated proxy per connected LinkedIn account. A further 7 vendors publish no figure at all. Every price in the directory is the vendor's own, in the vendor's currency, read on 20 September 2026; none of it is LinkedIn's price.
Will using these tools get my LinkedIn account restricted?
It can, and the exposure is not spread evenly, which is the reason this directory is sorted the way it is. 13 of the 42 put no LinkedIn account behind them at all and cannot get one restricted — 9 because they have no LinkedIn connection of any kind, the rest because they sell data their own infrastructure collected. At the other end, 17 are rated high exposure: they send under your name, or your session lives on a vendor's servers, or both. That rating is derived from two fields and can be re-derived by anyone who disagrees with it.
Do these tools work with Sales Navigator?
Yes, for 19 of the 42 — and every one of them expects you to hold the seat already. None supplies one and there is no API route to buy instead: LinkedIn's Sales Navigator API is granted through a partner programme rather than applied for. A Core seat is $119.99 a month, read from LinkedIn on 12 September 2026. Support also means different things per vendor — an import of a saved search, a scrape of a search result page, or nothing more than a filter label — so each entry records what the vendor actually states rather than a tick.
Which of these have an MCP server I can connect to Claude or Cursor?
Yes, for 23 of the 42, on the vendor's own account of it, with 4 more partial — a private beta, a waitlist, or a marketing page with no endpoint behind it. That is a vendor's server for the vendor's product, which is a different thing from a LinkedIn MCP server: LinkedIn publishes none, and the servers that reach LinkedIn directly are community-built and sorted by what they authenticate with on the MCP page here.
Is there an AI that will find and apply for jobs on LinkedIn?
Not in this directory, and the reason is worth stating rather than hiding. All 45 tools researched on 20 September 2026 sell to recruiters or to sellers: not one searches for a role, tailors an application or tracks one. Rather than file a prospecting tool under a job-search heading, the category carries no tools and says so. The same is true of personal branding — several tools act on other people's posts, none writes yours.
Choose the route before you choose the tool
Of the 42 tools here, 13 put no LinkedIn account behind them and cannot get one restricted, while 17 send under your name or hold your session on a vendor's servers. That decision sits upstream of every feature comparison, and the directory is sorted for it.
