Sales Navigator Core pricing
Sales Navigator Core costs $119.99 per seat per month, or $1,079.88 for a year prepaid — an effective $89.99 a month. It is the entry tier, and for a single seller it is usually the right one: the search that makes the product worth buying is identical on all three tiers.
Monthly or prepaid: the break-even is month 9
Prepaying is framed as a 25% discount. It is more usefully framed as a bet that you will still want the seat in month twelve — because LinkedIn refunds nothing if you do not.
| Route | Relative size | Twelve-month total |
|---|---|---|
| Month to month$119.99 × 12 — cancel at any period end | $1,439.88 | |
| Year prepaidPaid on day one, no refund if you cancel | $1,079.88 |
The prepaid year costs $1,079.88 whatever happens. On the monthly plan you have paid that much by month 9 ($119.99 × 9 = $1,079.91). So: certain about a year, prepay and save $360. Unsure, or trialling the channel, stay monthly — the $360 is cheap insurance against paying $1,079.88 for four months of use.
US list prices in USD, excluding tax. LinkedIn bills in local currency in most markets and the converted figure is rarely a straight exchange-rate conversion, so treat this as the US baseline and confirm in your own billing page before committing to an annual term.
Everything included in Core
Listed with what each one is actually for, rather than as the feature names LinkedIn's own comparison table uses.
The whole reason the product exists: 40+ filters across seniority, function, headcount, geography, tenure and recent activity. Identical on every tier — Advanced does not search harder than Core.
The same allowance Advanced and Advanced Plus get. Credits accrue to at most 150, expire after 90 days, and come back if the recipient replies within 90 days.
Far more than a single seller works through in a year. This is not the ceiling anyone hits in practice.
Job changes, funding, posts and mentions on the people and companies you have saved. The signal that makes a saved list worth keeping rather than exporting once.
Salesforce and Dynamics contact matching. What Core does not do is write activity back — that is the Advanced feature people most often discover they needed.
Four things Core cannot do
Three of them are one tier up. The fourth is not available at any price, on any LinkedIn plan.
The warm-intro paths through your colleagues’ networks. On a one-person team it is worth nothing, which is most of why Core exists. Included in Advanced.
Trackable content links that tell you who opened what and for how long, without asking for an email address. Included in Advanced.
LinkedIn’s own read on which saved accounts are showing buying behaviour. The one genuinely non-replicable Advanced feature. Included in Advanced.
No tier of any LinkedIn product includes this. A subscription upgrades one profile you already own. Why no tier includes it.
Is Core the right tier for you?
Every feature Advanced adds is a team feature. A one-person team paying $159.99 for TeamLink is paying $40 a month for warm-intro paths through a network of one.
Core's search is Advanced's search. If what you need is to find and save the right 2,000 people, no higher tier finds them faster.
Shared lists and TeamLink are where Advanced starts to pay — the threshold is worked out on Core vs Advanced.
Core matches contacts but does not write activity back, so the CRM stays blind to everything that happens inside Sales Navigator.
The questions people ask about this tier
How much does Sales Navigator Core cost?
$119.99 per seat per month on the month-to-month plan, or $1,079.88 for twelve months prepaid — an effective $89.99 a month. Those are LinkedIn's US list prices excluding tax, last read from LinkedIn's own compare-plans page on 12 September 2026.
Is the annual Sales Navigator Core plan worth it?
It saves $360 over twelve months — 25% — but only if you keep the seat for all twelve. LinkedIn does not pro-rate a cancelled annual term. The prepaid year overtakes the monthly plan in month 9: cancel before then and the prepay was the more expensive choice, and there is no refund.
What is included in Sales Navigator Core?
The advanced lead and account search with 40+ filters, 50 InMail credits a month, 10,000 saved leads and 10,000 saved accounts, 15 saved searches, real-time alerts on saved leads, and basic CRM contact sync. The search capability is identical to Advanced and Advanced Plus — the higher tiers add collaboration, not reach.
What is the difference between Sales Navigator Core and Advanced?
Four things: TeamLink warm-intro paths, Smart Links, shared lists, and activity writeback to the CRM, plus buyer intent signals. Advanced costs $159.99 against Core's $119.99, so the difference is $40 a month per seat. Every one of those features is a team feature, so on a one-person team Core is the correct product.
Can I upgrade from Core to Advanced later?
Yes, and LinkedIn credits the unused portion of a monthly Core term against the upgrade. Upgrading mid-way through a prepaid annual Core term is handled case by case by LinkedIn support, which is a reason to start monthly if you are genuinely unsure which tier you need.
Does Sales Navigator Core include a free trial?
Typically one month, but LinkedIn commits to neither the length nor your eligibility — its own wording is that trial length "may vary based on region or promotional terms". A payment method is required and it converts to a paid month automatically unless you cancel first.
Decide the billing period, not just the tier
Prepaying saves $360 but commits you for twelve months with no refund. Month to month costs $1,439.88 a year and lets you leave at any period end.
