AI sales tools for LinkedIn — and which of them reach it at all

8 of the 25 AI sales platforms filed here have no LinkedIn connection of any kind. They sell email, the phone and the CRM. Several market “social” as a channel while their own help centres name two channels and neither is LinkedIn. Of the 17 that do reach it, 1 claims a place in a LinkedIn partner programme; the rest read inside a browser session you opened or drive your account from a server. 19 publish a price at all.

The question this page answers

Which AI sales platform actually works with LinkedIn?

The AI platforms sellers run a whole outbound motion on. Several of the best known do not touch LinkedIn at all, and this is where that is said.

Who arrives on this page

Sellers, founders and RevOps buyers picking one platform to run an outbound motion on, who assumed LinkedIn came with it.

What actually separates them

Not the agent count and not the feature grid — the channel. The fact that decides whether this money buys LinkedIn work is one line in the vendor’s own documentation: which step types the sequence builder actually has. Where that line says email, manual task and phone call, the LinkedIn touch is a human being.

The trade-off nobody puts on the pricing page

The platforms that reach furthest into LinkedIn are the ones that drive your account; the ones that carry no account risk are the ones that cannot touch LinkedIn. No product in this category does both, and a page implying otherwise is selling something.

The tools

The 12 filed here first, in the order that decides what they cost the account

Least exposure first: the tools that put no LinkedIn account behind them, then the ones that read a page you opened, then the ones that hold your session and act as you. The badge names the route and the second badge names what that route exposes; the colour repeats the word and never replaces it.

Every figure above is the cheapest paid tier the vendor published on 20 September 2026, in the currency and on the meter the vendor printed it — per seat, per LinkedIn account, per identity and per licence all appear, so two figures are rarely comparable without the unit beside them. A free tier is not shown as a price. Nothing here recommends automating a LinkedIn account, and no entry treats a vendor’s assurance about pacing as a statement of LinkedIn’s policy. Where a tool’s own architecture breaches the User Agreement, the entry says so rather than working around it.

No column is marked as the pick, because the rows that matter most are not the ones a ranking would score. Sales Navigator, Recruiter and MCP cells read Supported where the vendor documents it on its own pages, Partial where it is bounded by a tier, a beta or a waitlist, Not supported where it was looked for and absent, and Not established where the vendor neither states it nor rules it out. That last one is not a no.

What to use when

The situation decides this, and there are only a few situations

Each of these is a real shape of work rather than a persona. Find yours and the shortlist is two or three rather than 25.

You want contact data and LinkedIn in one cheap seat

Apollo.io is the only one of the four with a published per-seat figure and a permanent free plan. Its extension reveals contact data on the profile and Sales Navigator page you already have open; it sends no connection request and no message, so it trips none of LinkedIn’s send ceilings. What it does trip is the extraction clause, which is a different exposure and a lower one.

LinkedIn has to be a sanctioned channel and Salesforce is already in place

Salesloft states on salesloft.com/linkedin that it is a member of LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator Application Platform, and that page is the whole source — nothing on LinkedIn’s own site was found that names it. Its cadence steps reach LinkedIn that way, so a Sales Navigator Core seat is a separate LinkedIn bill on top, from $119.99 a month, and Salesloft does not state which tier the integration needs. Salesloft publishes no price of its own.

You need to evaluate before a sales call

$49 is Apollo’s cheapest paid tier and Unify, Regie.ai, Sybill and Seamless.AI each run a permanent free plan. Artisan, Attention, Salesloft and Outreach publish no figure at all, and ZoomInfo Copilot and Persana AI publish figures that would not render to anything but a browser. 6 of them cannot be budgeted without a conversation.

An agent has to read this from your own tooling

14 of these ship a callable MCP server on the vendor’s own account of it, which is how an assistant calls the product rather than describing it. What that reaches is the vendor’s own database and sequencer. The servers that reach LinkedIn itself are a separate question and a separate page.

What none of them can do

Every route has a ceiling, and it belongs to the route rather than the tool

The table is the hard part: whatever a vendor in this category ships next, these limits do not move, because they are properties of how the software reaches LinkedIn at all.

None of them turns LinkedIn into a sanctioned channel

LinkedIn’s self-serve permissions cover sign-in, an email address and posting on your own behalf. Nothing on that list returns people search or another member’s profile, so a platform that promises LinkedIn prospecting is reaching it some other way, and the entry says which.

None of them raises a LinkedIn ceiling

The invitation ceiling is ~100 per week and it belongs to the account, not to the software in front of it. Applies on every plan including Recruiter Corporate. LinkedIn adjusts it per account based on acceptance rate, so a low-acceptance account gets less, never more.

RouteTools hereWhat the route cannot do, however good the tool is
No LinkedIn8Everything on LinkedIn is outside them. Covering LinkedIn as well means buying, paying for and running a second product, and moving data between the two.
Data vendor3No account of yours can be restricted, because no account of yours is used. What it sells is a copy, as current as its last refresh — and nothing behind your login: not your network, not your inbox, not your saved lists.
Official API1Narrow by design. The self-serve permissions cover sign-in, email address and posting on your own behalf; Pages, Ads and Sales Navigator partner access are granted through programmes rather than applied for, and nothing on the self-serve list returns people search or another member’s profile.
Chrome extension4It reaches whatever the page in front of you shows, and nothing while the browser is closed. LinkedIn’s Prohibited Software and Extensions policy names extensions that automate the site, and enforcement lands on the member account.
Vendor cloud5The widest reach of any class and the highest exposure. It runs without you, the credential sits with somebody else, and every action is attributable to your account — which is also the thing LinkedIn can restrict.
Not established4Unknown, which is the point. Nothing in this directory treats an unread claim as a capability, and nothing treats an unanswered question as a reassurance.
Automated access to LinkedIn is prohibited by the User Agreement, whatever the means.

Section 8.2 bars developing, supporting or using software that scrapes LinkedIn or copies profiles and data, and bars bots and other automated methods of access. It does not distinguish between a slow tool and a fast one, and it carves out nothing for well-paced automation.

www.linkedin.com/legal/user-agreement

Enforcement lands on the member account, not on the vendor.

The Prohibited Software and Extensions policy names browser extensions and third-party automation services and states that LinkedIn may restrict or permanently restrict accounts that use them. The vendor keeps its subscription revenue either way.

www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1341387

Read from LinkedIn's own legal and help pages, quoted in substance rather than verbatim because LinkedIn edits them without announcement. The ceilings that apply to you as a member — invitations a week, InMail allowances, the search cap — are separate, apply whether or not a tool is involved, and are on the LinkedIn limits page.

LinkedIn AI Sales Tools FAQ

The questions people arrive with, answered from the vendors' own pages

Which AI sales tool actually works with LinkedIn?

Ask it as two questions, because the category answers them separately. If “works with LinkedIn” means reading the profile in front of you, the extension tools do that — Apollo.io, LeadIQ and Seamless.AI among the ones filed here. If it means sending on LinkedIn, 8 of these 25 do that under your name, and every one of them is doing something LinkedIn’s User Agreement prohibits. If it means a supported integration, there is 1: Salesloft, by its own account a member of LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator Application Platform, with a Sales Navigator seat bought separately from LinkedIn.

Do AI SDRs send LinkedIn messages?

The named AI SDR products in this directory document email and the phone. Artisan’s help centre lists exactly two outreach channels and its sequence builder has no social step — the “social” touch is a manual task queued for a human. Regie.ai’s own integrations page shows LinkedIn as waiting while Gmail, Outlook and HubSpot are live. 11x names “social” on three pages and defines it on none. Unify markets social outreach and documents four step types, none of them social. Read the sequence-builder documentation, not the homepage.

How much does an AI sales platform cost?

19 of the 25 publish a figure and 6 do not. The published ones are metered several different ways — per seat, per LinkedIn sender, per credit, per prospect and per execution hour — so two headline prices are rarely comparable. The quote-only end is genuinely expensive to enter: 11x publishes an annual entry price of $3,750 a month billed annually for one of its two agents, and Salesloft, Outreach, Artisan and Attention publish nothing at all.

Will an AI sales tool get my LinkedIn account restricted?

That depends entirely on the route, which is why it is the first thing on every card. 11 of these 25 put no LinkedIn account behind them, so there is nothing for LinkedIn to restrict. 3 read pages inside your own signed-in session. 8 send under your name. LinkedIn’s Prohibited Software and Extensions policy names browser extensions and third-party automation services and says it may restrict or permanently restrict accounts that use them, and the vendor keeps its subscription either way.

Is Apollo.io an AI sales tool?

It is a contact database with sequencing and a dialer attached, and it names AI features on top of that. On LinkedIn specifically, its extension reads the profile or Sales Navigator page you have open and matches it against Apollo’s own database; it sends no invitation, message or InMail. Its own pricing page renders client-side and its structured data disagrees with the rendered figures, so the tiers recorded here are the rendered ones, read on 20 September 2026.
