LinkedIn adds 18% GST to the subscription price in India, and the rupees list price is set separately from the US one rather than converted from it. Those two facts decide more of the bill than which tier you pick. Below: what changes here, the US baseline to judge it against, and the thirty-second way to read your own real figure.
Three things that decide a Indian LinkedIn bill
India is one of the markets where LinkedIn prices furthest below its US list price. It is not a conversion — LinkedIn sets a separate rupee price — so the gap is a pricing decision rather than an exchange rate, and it does not move when the rupee does.
GST at 18% is added on top. On a subscription billed in rupees that is a fifth of the bill, and it is the part that surprises people who budgeted from a figure they read in a blog post.
A GSTIN entered in the billing details changes how the charge appears and is what your accountant will ask for. Enter it before the first charge rather than after — LinkedIn does not reissue invoices for a number added later.
The usage ceilings are identical everywhere. Roughly 100 connection invitations a week, the same InMail allowance per tier, the same 2,500-result cap on a Sales Navigator search — none of it moves with the currency. The full list is here.

Is LinkedIn Premium cheaper in India?
Substantially, yes — LinkedIn sets a separate rupee price rather than converting the US one, and India is among the markets it prices lowest. We do not print the rupee figure here because we cannot read an Indian purchase flow from outside India, and every number circulating for it traces back to another blog rather than to LinkedIn. Does the price include GST?
No. LinkedIn states it charges GST at 18% in India, added on top of the subscription price. Budget the plan plus a fifth.
Can I pay the US price by using a VPN?
No, and it would be the wrong direction anyway — the Indian price is lower. LinkedIn determines the billing market from the payment method and billing address rather than from your connection, so a VPN changes what you see and not what you are charged.
Do the usage limits change in India?
