LinkedIn adds 5% VAT to the subscription price in the United Arab Emirates, and the dirhams list price is set separately from the US one rather than converted from it. Three things that decide a UAE LinkedIn bill
VAT in the UAE is 5% — among the lowest rates LinkedIn charges anywhere, and low enough that it rarely changes a decision.
LinkedIn may bill UAE customers in dollars rather than dirhams depending on the payment method, in which case a card issuer’s conversion fee is a real line item on top of the tax.
For a business, the TRN goes in the billing details for the invoice to be usable.
