Three things that decide a Canadian LinkedIn bill
Canada does not appear on LinkedIn’s published VAT/GST rate table at all. That is worth knowing rather than guessing about: it means the sales-tax treatment is not something LinkedIn states a single rate for, and GST/HST varies by province in any case — 5% in Alberta, 13% in Ontario, 15% in Nova Scotia and the other Atlantic provinces, with QST on top in Quebec.
The Canadian dollar price is set separately from the US one. Being next door does not make it a conversion.
