What LinkedIn costs over one, two and three years

Nobody buys one of these seats for a month. They hold it for as long as the person using it is in the role — and ten Sales Navigator Core seats over three years is $43,196.40, a figure the $119.99 monthly price does not prepare anyone for. Pick the plan, the seat count and the billing route.

What you are holding, and for how long
$119.99 per seat per month, or $1,079.88 per seat prepaid. Only plans with both prices published can be modelled — the quote-only tiers are explained on Advanced Plus and Recruiter Corporate.
Flat per seat — LinkedIn gives no volume break on the self-serve plans at any count.
Annual plans are billed in whole twelve-month terms and are never refunded, so this prices them that way.

Today's US list prices held flat, in USD excluding tax. There is no price-rise assumption built in — LinkedIn repriced this range in August 2026 and may again, and projecting an increase would be inventing data. Treat these as the floor rather than the forecast, and see the record of what has actually changed.

US list prices in USD, excluding tax. LinkedIn bills in local currency in most markets and the converted figure is rarely a straight exchange-rate conversion, so treat this as the US baseline and confirm in your own billing page before committing to an annual term. Quote-only tiers are absent because LinkedIn publishes no price for them — see Advanced Plus and Recruiter Corporate.

How to read a three-year number

Four things it changes

The tier decision grows teeth

$40 a seat a month between Core and Advanced is $14,400 across ten seats over three years — settle it on Core vs Advanced.

Dormant seats stop being rounding errors

One unused Core seat is $3,239.64 over three prepaid years. Audit before each renewal, not after.

The prepay becomes three bets, not one

Each annual term renews and each is unrefundable. Three years of commitment is three separate wagers on still needing the seat.

It is a floor, not a forecast

Multi-year cost FAQ

The questions budgets raise

How much does Sales Navigator cost per year?

$1,439.88 per seat on the monthly plan, or $1,079.88 prepaid. Over three years that is $4,319.64 monthly against $3,239.64 prepaid, per seat — and across a ten-person team, $43,196.40 against $32,396.40.

Why does the multi-year total matter?

Because nobody holds one of these seats for a month. A subscription is held for as long as the person using it is in the role, which is typically measured in years — so the monthly price is the least relevant figure in the decision and the one every pricing page leads with. At ten seats the difference between two tiers over three years is usually larger than the annual budget line anyone approved.

Does this account for LinkedIn raising prices?

No, deliberately. These are today’s published prices held flat. LinkedIn repriced Sales Navigator in August 2026 — Core up $20, Advanced down $20 — and may do so again, but projecting an increase would mean inventing a number, which this site does not do. Treat the totals as a floor rather than a forecast, and check the dated price-change record for what has actually moved.

How are annual plans counted over an odd number of months?

In whole twelve-month terms, because that is how LinkedIn bills them. A thirty-month need on the annual rate costs three full years, and LinkedIn does not refund the unused six months. Averaging that out would quietly understate the commitment at exactly the durations where people get caught.

Is prepaying better over three years?

Cheaper in total on every plan, but the size of the advantage varies enormously — 50% on Premium Career against 6% on Sales Navigator Advanced. Over three years the commitment is also three separate bets rather than one, since each term renews. The plan-by-plan discount is on our annual vs monthly page.

Where to next

Budget the horizon, not the month

$119.99 a month is an easy approval. $43,196.40 across ten seats and three years is a different conversation — and it is the same purchase.
