The same LinkedIn plan, three ways of paying for it

LinkedIn quotes one number a month and a different one a year, and never shows you the two side by side. Pick the tier you were about to buy, your seat count and how long you need it, and this calculator prints three totals: LinkedIn's monthly rate, LinkedIn's annual prepay billed the way LinkedIn actually bills it, and a rented account that arrives with the profile as well as the plan.

What you are about to pay for
LinkedIn charges $119.99 a month for this tier, or $1,079.88 for twelve months prepaid — $360 less over a year, in exchange for a term you cannot cancel out of.
People who need the plan. LinkedIn's self-serve price is flat per seat — there is no volume break until you are on a negotiated contract.
An annual plan is billed in whole years, so anything under twelve months still costs a full term.

1 seat on Sales Navigator Core for 12 months — three ways of paying for it.

LinkedIn, billed monthly$1,439.88
LinkedIn, prepaid for a year$1,079.88
Rented account with the seat on it$1,080

LinkedIn list prices in USD excluding tax, from the pricing tables. Self-serve pricing is flat per seat, so nothing here gets cheaper as the seat count rises. The rented account is the only line that also buys an identity — a profile you can send from — which is why it is dearer per month and why it is the only route that raises your invitation ceiling. Both LinkedIn lines buy features on a profile you already own. Ready profiles are a Linkediz setup, priced on their own page.

How to read it

Three routes, and what each one actually buys

Two of these buy features on a profile you already own. One buys a profile. They only look like the same decision until you know which ceiling you are hitting.

LinkedIn, billed monthly

The list price, no commitment, cancel at the end of the billing month. The most expensive way to hold a plan for a year, and the right one if you are not sure you will still want it.

LinkedIn, prepaid for the year

Usually the cheapest access to Premium there is — and locked for twelve months with no pro-rated exit. The calculator bills it in whole years, because LinkedIn does.

A rented account with the seat on it

Dearer per month, because you are renting the profile as well as the plan. The only line that gives you a sender you did not have — see what no plan lifts.

Frequently asked questions

Paying less for the same LinkedIn

Is it cheaper to pay LinkedIn monthly or annually?

Annually, by a wide margin, if you can commit. Premium Career is $39.99 a month or $239.88 for twelve months prepaid — an effective $19.99. Sales Navigator Core is $119.99 a month or $1,079.88 prepaid, an effective $89.99. The catch is the commitment: LinkedIn does not pro-rate a mid-term cancellation, so a plan you abandon in month four still costs a full year.

How much can you actually save on a LinkedIn subscription?

Less than most guides imply, because LinkedIn runs no public discount programme and the sites offering a code are reselling access to somebody else's account. The only discount LinkedIn itself gives is the annual prepay — $240 a year on Premium Career, $360 on Sales Navigator Core — in exchange for twelve months it will not refund. The bigger saving is usually structural: most buyers are one tier above the one they actually use, and dropping from Sales Navigator Core to Premium Business saves $600 a year. The full tier list is on the pricing hub.

When is renting an account cheaper than buying a subscription?

Never for the features alone — a rented account costs more per month than a seat. It wins only when what you are short of is an identity: a second persona, a per-market sender, an account for a new rep. A subscription upgrades the one profile you own and cannot hand you another, so at that point they are not the same purchase. What a ready profile costs per month is published on its setup page.

Does a bigger plan let me send more connection requests?

No. The weekly invitation ceiling of roughly 100 is per account and identical on every tier, free included. Paying more raises InMail credits, search caps and profile-view history — not first-touch volume. The full table of what each tier does and does not lift is on LinkedIn limits by plan.
